Small Biz Panel Considers Further Stimulus

Congressional Democrats continue to ponder the possibilities of another stimulus package, in spite of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s definitive statement that such a package could not be considered in that body before September. Then again, September isn’t all that far away. It seems doubtful that there will be more checks mailed to cheerful taxpayers; small business goodies, on the other hand, remain a strong possibility.

In addition, we have a new set of nonemployer numbers out and the news is quite a surprise. And it’s August, and you know what that means: another series of Microbusiness Profiles to keep us occupied and interested while we wait for Congress to return from their August recess.
